“You really are on the top of the world,” said listing agent Frederik Eklund of Douglas Elliman of this contemporary residence on the 29th floor of One West End on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Offering a sweeping view of both the Hudson and the New York City skyline, “it is basically a mega, mega mansion,” Mr. Eklund said.

The expansive residence features a clean and contemporary design alongside soaring floor-to-ceiling windows throughout that allow light to flood into each of the residence’s many rooms. While a library overlooks the double height living room, the home’s kitchen is concealed behind a wall bordering the dining area below. Here, homeowners will find state-of-the-art appliances within a custom designed eat-in kitchen featuring deep, walnut cabinetry and marble countertops.

“It is one of my favorite listings right now and certainly the one with the biggest terrace,” Mr. Eklund said.

In fact, the residence’s expansive terrace stretches over half the size of the interior and features a scenic view of the city on three sides. An outdoor cooking space and dining area cement the residence as the consummate entertaining home.

Though the building is home to many luxurious residences, Mr. Eklund said, “none of [them] have a terrace like” this one.

Spanning 5,302 square feet of interior space and 3,299 square feet of outdoor space, the residence and features four bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms throughout.

One West End “has every single amenity at double and triple the size of anything else,” Mr. Eklund said.

Homeowners will have access to 24-hour concierge service, a 12,000-square-foot rooftop garden terrace, a fitness center with a 75-foot indoor swimming pool, and a spa offering facials and massages. The building’s social spaces include a media room, a game room, a living room complete with a gas-burning fireplace, a billiard room, and a beehive-themed playroom for kids.
